BOSTON (November 29, 2018) – Rasky Partners, one of the top independent public relations and public affairs firms in the nation, announced today that Doug Bailey and Eric Weber have been promoted to Senior Vice President.
Doug Bailey, who most recently has been serving in a senior advisory role, will play a key role in helping drive the firm’s crisis and reputation management practice, developing sponsored content and devising communications strategies for clients across the firm. After serving in a similar role from 2001-2007, Bailey founded his own firm, DBMediaStrategies, which he ran until this year. Before joining Rasky and his former partner Joe Baerlein in ’01, Bailey spent 15 years as an award-winning journalist with the Boston Globe, where he held several positions, including business reporter, Deputy Business Editor, Political Editor, and Senior Assistant Metro Editor.

After serving as Rasky’s Controller for three years, Eric Weber has been promoted to Senior Vice President, continuing as well in his prior role as head the accounting department by overseeing the firm’s financial reporting and staff management. Weber has been instrumental in accounting process improvements as the firm continues to expand its client base. Prior to Rasky, Weber was a Director of Accounting at Seniorlink and earned his master’s in accounting at UMass Amherst.
