The Museum of African American History in Boston & Nantucket turned to Rasky Partners to help introduce its new CEO and position her as a thought leader, and showcase its programs, exhibits, partnerships, and events.
Our Work
Our work expanded to encompass media prep and crisis communications support following a cut in federal funding, the result of efforts to influence the retelling of American history.
Results
To date wehave secured more than 200 stories including pieces on WGBH Radio’s the Culture Show, the Curiosity Desk, and Boston Public Radio, WBZ TV, CNN, the New York Times, the Boston Globe, NBC10, Associated Press, Boston Magazine (we secured the CEO’s inclusion in the magazine’s 150 most influential Bostonians), the Bay State Banner, and WGBH TV among many others. Our client has reported an uptick in donations from first-time donors following the placement of stories that highlight the Museum’s work.
