An Open Letter

We are pleased to announce that Rasky Baerlein Strategic Communications (RBSC) and Prism Public Affairs, two of the leading, independent public affairs firms in the country, are merging.

The new firm will offer an expanded suite of services, joining RBSC’s reputation management and corporate communications capabilities with Prism’s experience in public affairs, crisis and litigation communications. Our combined team of senior strategists knows how to communicate effectively with key audiences in Washington, on Wall Street, in corporate boardrooms, newsrooms and state capitals across the country.

For many years, principals at RBSC and Prism have respected and admired each other’s work. While this is not the first time we have talked about getting together, it is definitely the right time. Both firms are built around a strong work ethic and seriously smart people doing challenging work for our clients. Those are the qualities today’s public affairs marketplace is demanding.

Simply put, the merger brings together two businesses, with the same core values, to better serve current and future clients. The combined entity will have additional expertise, resources and capacity particularly in crisis and litigation communications, reputation management, public affairs, and digital media campaigns.

The combined company will operate in Boston and Washington with a team of 55 professionals. We will ultimately be known as Rasky Baerlein Strategic Communications, but during the transition period, we will operate in Washington as Rasky Baerlein|Prism.

We are very excited about this new partnership. Both firms place a high value on client service, and we are well-positioned as an independent company to provide exceptional value and flexibility that meets our clients’ objectives. We hope you will agree.

With great appreciation,
