Names Michael Morris as Vice President and General Counsel, and Head of New Cyber Security Practice while also Promoting DiMartino and Walsh to More Senior Positions

BOSTON (August 3, 2017) – Rasky Partners announced today that Michael Morris has joined the firm as Vice President and  General Counsel, and head of the firm’s new cyber security practice while also promoting Jessica DiMartino to Vice President of Marketing and Dianna Walsh to Associate Vice President for Communications.

Morris will leverage his legal expertise and public affairs background as he builds Rasky Partners’ expanding cyber security practice group. In addition to this role, Morris will serve as general counsel while also overseeing business development activities in the firm’s Boston and Washington, D.C. offices. Prior to joining Rasky, Morris was previously in private law practice, founding a law firm and business consultancy in which he focused on corporate and transactional law and provided strategic communications, business development and government affairs services. Currently a member of Governor Charlie Baker and Lieutenant Governor Karen Polito’s Finance Committee, Morris has volunteered on several national presidential and U.S. Senate campaigns and worked as a White House intern.

“We are excited for Michael to lead the cyber security practice group whose services are no doubt vital in today’s world,” said Larry Rasky, chairman and CEO of Rasky Partners. “Michael’s legal and public affairs background will be an asset to clients as he works along with recently-named senior advisor, Ambassador Robert Sherman, and our crisis communications team to spearhead this firm-wide enterprise. We look forward to delivering the highest standard of client service and helping our clients achieve success in government sales and data breach management.”

After serving as Rasky Partners’ Director of Marketing for six years, DiMartino has been elevated to Vice President of Marketing. In her new role, she is heavily involved in bolstering Rasky’s growing digital presence and expanding the firm’s digital and video offerings to clients. DiMartino will also continue managing Rasky’s other corporate marketing efforts including strategic brand management initiatives, market research and analysis, day-to-day corporate communications and sponsorships.

Walsh moves into her role as Associate Vice President in Rasky Partners’ crisis communications and issues management practice following a two year tenure as a Senior Account Executive in the group. In her elevated role, Walsh has a lead role in managing one of the largest crisis practices in New England, providing strategic counsel and day-to-day reputation management support to high profile clients facing issues that range from business disputes, government investigations, data breach and cyber security threats, to civil and criminal charges and investigations.  Walsh, who first joined the firm in 2009, is also responsible for managing junior staff members and supporting the practice’s business development initiatives.

“I am thrilled to announce Jess and Dianna’s promotions,” added Rasky. “Both women have been with the firm for the better part of a decade and I’ve been privileged to see them become leading professionals in this industry. With Rasky’s significant growth these last 10 years, Jess has been instrumental in branding us as one of the nation’s top firms while Dianna has proven invaluable to our crisis and issues management clients and to the continued success of the communications practice as a whole.”
