Boston Global Investors (BGI) is a leading real estate development and consulting firm headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.  Led by John B. Hynes III and a team of experienced real estate professionals, BGI has over 30 years of experience developing commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects, from landmark towers to city-scale development.

Our work

We became members of the development team assembled by Boston Global Investors (BGI) to beat out 12 other proposals and win development rights awarded by the Massachusetts Port Authority for 401 Congress Street in the Seaport area of Boston. Since designation, we have worked with BGI to steer the proposed 17-story office tower through the permitting process and the challenges of the pandemic, including the loss of its original financial partner. After project approvals were secured, the building program was revised to add lab space and new approvals were secured.

Results

Our team significantly raised the organization’s profile among key decision-makers and secured ongoing state funding. We continue to work with BGI to make the building attractive to both financial partners and future tenants, including securing key media placements.
