

Senior Advisor
Drawing on his extensive media and public relations background, Doug Bailey has played a key role in devising communications strategies that support organizations’ business initiatives, including professional sports team acquisitions, publication launches, branding efforts and business endeavors.
Returning to Rasky Partners previously as Senior Vice President and now Senior Advisor, Doug has worked with major corporations, organizations, coalitions and individuals on issues involving litigation, employee disputes, industrial accidents, product recalls, government prosecution, and medical malpractice. Doug also works with clients in regulated industries such as health care, cannabis and others to help them position themselves for success while protecting their reputation. He was previously a Senior Vice President at Rasky Partners before founding his own firm, DBMediaStrategies Inc.
Before entering the PR world, Doug spent 15 years as an award-winning journalist with the Boston Globe, where he held several positions, including business reporter, Deputy Business Editor, Political Editor and Senior Assistant Metro Editor for the Health and Science section, overseeing the paper’s coverage of medical, science, environmental, census, biotechnology, and higher education issues. A journalism major at the University of Maine, Doug was an adjunct professor at Boston University in the Communications Department. He is also a member of the board of directors of the International Institute of New England.
