Senior vice president Jeff Terrey will lead new consulting service advancing firm’s work with building and fire code regulations

April 5, 2016 (Boston) – Rasky Partners, Inc., one of the top independent public affairs and public relations firms in the nation, announced that it has launched a new Codes and Regulations consulting service within its Public Affairs team to bolster the firm’s 15 years of lobbying, regulatory advocacy and grassroots experience working with clients in the building and fire codes space.

“National codes like fire codes, energy codes and building codes impact countless businesses and products. Being written out of a code or accepted within a new code can mean success or failure for a product,” said Jeff Terrey, Senior Vice President at Rasky Partners.  “The need for strategic counsel and expert guidance has increased as companies that deal with any type of codes or regulations navigate the complexities that vary from state to state. Our team has significant experience helping clients influence the code and regulatory process.”

Given the complex nature of today’s regulatory codes and the current need for code writers seeking input and participation from outside experts, Rasky Partners is uniquely positioned to leverage its regulatory knowledge, political intelligence and extensive network of relationships with policymakers and influencers to help organizations of all sizes and sectors achieve their goals at the national, state and local levels of government. Service offerings of the Codes and Regulations consulting include strategic management, message development, regulatory advocacy, lobbying and public affairs, among others.

Senior vice president Jeff Terrey of Rasky Partners’ Boston office will lead the new consultancy, which will advance the firm’s longstanding work with international organizations such as the Fire Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (FEMA) and grow its relationship with regional, multi-state and multi-national organizations looking to amplify their voice in shaping public policy while gaining the expertise needed to make more informed business decisions.

“Jeff Terrey is the ideal executive to spearhead this new consultant service for us,” said Larry Rasky, CEO and chairman of Rasky Partners. “For over 12 years Jeff has immersed himself in the area of codes and regulations and has far-reaching relationships. He brings the level of client service and expertise our clients deserve and have come to expect.”
