A respected advocate for at-risk-children, the Foundation To Be Named Later (FTBNL) works to provide the tools, resources and services necessary to support the mental, social, and emotional development of Boston's youth. This non-profit organization believes that education, self-esteem, civic responsibility and a safe, nurturing environment are essential to personal growth. FTBNL helps at-risk kids step up to the plate. Founded by Red Sox GM Theo Epstein, his brother Paul, a social worker, and sports journalist Peter Gammons, The Foundation to Be Named Later funds and supports nine non-profit organizations, which in turn provide care and critical services to thousands of low income children and families in and around the Greater Boston area.

Our Work
Before engaging with Rasky Baerlein, the Foundation hosted a number of successful annual fundraisers. In 2010, Rasky Baerlein, recommended that FTBNL add a unique, new event to its line-up: The Business of Baseball. This luncheon and panel features top major league players, front office executives, advertisers and journalists from across the country.
RBSC played a critical role in driving media attention and securing partners and sponsors, including American Airlines, Bank of America, Blue Cross Blue Shield MA, Comcast Business, Cumberland Farms, GDF Suez, Gulf Oil, Suffolk Construction, and Walmart. In just two years The Business of Baseball has garnered attention among the media and Boston's corporate community and raised $150,000 to help underwrite much-needed programs and community outreach.
By creating, implementing, and promoting The Business of Baseball, Rasky Baerlein has helped the Foundation To Be Named Later make a real difference in the lives of disadvantaged children and their families, in ways that are real, measurable and long lasting.
