Rasky Baerlein is currently running a digital public affairs campaign for a Fortune 100 company, which integrates the "old" methodologies of grassroots organizing, constituency based communication, and traditional media with a digital platform which allows the client to organize allies online and add them to the grassroots base, monitor online conversation and media content and use to shape press coverage in the traditional media, and supplement existing lobbying activities at the state and federal levels.
This work is executed in real time, where there are no boundaries in the media cycle, no four walls in a State House of the Capitol to prevent advocates from expressing their opinions, and no shortage of new influencers, whose voices find willing listeners with staff and elected officials. The staple of our work is grounded in the premise that all the operating centers---press, lobbying, and grassroots, must have a fully integrated digital public affairs strategy.
