Our Work
The complexity of and the competition within the wind energy industry require a calculated strategic approach towards communities, government officials and the media. RBSC has been able to intertwine all three of these services and provide First Wind with an intelligent, dedicated team that has helped the company grow from a young startup to a nationally respected clean energy project developer.
No industry felt the adverse impact of the global recession more than alternative energy. Starved for capital, a multitude of solar and wind companies looked to Washington to bridge the financing gap. Rasky Baerlein worked with First Wind to educate key policymakers about the company's wind portfolio. This meant advocating for tax policies that leveled the playing field with other energy entities. First Wind received federal support that enabled the company to continue its growth and provide a clean, affordable supply of energy.
